Horsham Flood, Town Entrance

The entrance to the city centre. This is the path of the natural water course for the Wimmera River prior to it being dammed and levied. The river has been widened and its course changed after the early 1900's as the town of Horsham expanded. But unfortunately Mother Nature does as she pleases and the storm water run off followed the path it knows. Beautiful and scary
