This is dedicated to my sweet friend because he is a rare gem just like the Tahitian Black Pearl.

The black pearl formed by the Black Lip Oyster of the South Seas. Rare because only 1 in every 15,000 of these Black Lip Oysters will ever naturally form this beautiful and perfect gem. Love you lots my kind and talented friend

Hand formed fine silver (PMC) shell from my own hand drawn design. The silver has been hand engraved and the finest Japanese Transparent enamels have been inlayed using an enamelling method known as Champleve'.

Inside the shell sits a 8mm Black Onyx Cab (unfortunately I cant afford Tahitian Pearls just yet ) and Japanese transparent enamels have been applied using the Bass Taille enamelling method. I found it very hard to capture on camera as it is a 3D formation, The back of the pendant has been formed exactly as the front.

A couple of weeks work from start to finish. Hope you all like
