We were on Level 3 Flood alert when Burnt Creek which is only about 500m from our house begins to over flow onto the road. This creek only usually has a trickle of water in it but by this stage could barely cope with all the recent storm water influx.
Never in the documented history of Horsham going back to 1909 has this creek reached this level..so it was all a case of not knowing what would happen and all a guessing game for the officials involved
